Living Out of God's Shekhinah Presence

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

Living out of His Shekhinah presence, you will be naturally supernatural

Manifested Presence of God

SHEKHINAH PRESENCE OF GOD

In the Old Testament, God’s Shekhinah presence was manifested through a dense cloud seen by all. Whenever God spoke to Moses, He manifested through the burning bush or out of a pillar of cloud, or through fire. The Israelites also saw the presence of the Lord in the form of a cloud when it came down on the Tabernacle after Moses erected it,

“On the day the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant; and from evening until morning it was over the tabernacle, having the appearance of fire. It was always so: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night (Numbers 9:15-16).

In the Old Times, only a few chosen ones were allowed to come into the Holy of Holies, at that time it was Moses, Aaron and Aaron’s sons, who were chosen as priests to come and make atonement for the people. They had a very close relationship with the Lord.

The Bibles says that God spoke to the prophets in dreams in visions, but not to His servant Moses, He spoke to him face to face (Number 12:6-7) because he was found faithful.

**Before the high priest entered the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement, he had to wash himself, he went through a cleansing process.Thank God now through Jesus, His holy of holies in within us, all we have to do is call upon the name of Jesus and He will answer us and show us great and wonderful things we do not know (Jer. 33:3).

The glory of God isn’t just a feeling, or an Old Testament experience—it’s a spiritual tsunami containing the whole character and presence of God. In the shekhinah glory we get to experience all who God is, His love, attributes, power, grace, anointing, miracles, etc.

Shekhinah is the manifested presence of God, but more than just a presence, it’s power. The kind of power that resurrects, delivers, overcomes and transforms. And it belongs to us.

We all desire to know and see things in the spirit realm, right?

Years ago, I had gone to a conference, one of those conferences where everyone sees angels, and they fall down in the presence of the Lord. Those meeting when everyone is so hungry for the Lord that He has no choice but to manifest Himself to us. For years I had been praying to see angels or Jesus Himself with my own eyes; not just sense their presence, because I do sense their presence, but I wanted to see them in an open vision. So, this one time, I went back to my hotel room, I was all alone praying to see an angel or Jesus. Then, all of a sudden, I sensed a presence, and you know how the Bible says that when John saw the angel of the Lord, he fell on the ground as if dead, Daniel was lifted up by the angel after he fell on his face because of the divine presence (Daniel 8). Well, when I sensed a presence, I was scared, and I covered my face under the blankets. And the Lord said to me, “You’re not ready”.

I then realized that I needed to go deeper, the Lord showed me that I had to go through a time of preparation in order to experience this supernatural manifestation on a day to day basis.

Some of you have already experience His Shekhinah presence, if you have not experienced it yet, the Lord wants you to know that what He has done for others He will do for you and through you, He says that this is your time of preparation.

Like I mentioned before, a priest had to prepare himself before entering the holy of holies. He had the authority to enter, God’s presence was there but the Shekhinah presence, God’s glory was not manifested until the priest was ready for that encounter. There is a preparation we must go through before we also encounter His manifested glory:

1- We must first believe- without faith, it is impossible to please God.

2- We must be holy as he is holy. - just as the priest had to, we must cleanse ourselves from all unrighteousness, from all forms of malice (1 Peter 2:1).

We must Maintain a pure and humble heart.

“Pursue peace with everyone and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14).

3- The next step is to love God above all things and love our neighbors- We must See people the way God sees them, through the Blood of Jesus. Through Prophetic words, God always desires to reveal people’s potential, not their present state.

The Holy of Holies, the very presence of God, is now open to all who come to Christ in faith. The holy of holies is within you because of the Cross. When Jesus died, the curtain of the temple which separated men from God was torn in two from top to bottom” (Matt.27:51).

Christ’s body was “torn” on the cross, and now we can boldly come before the throne of God and experience His glory manifested on earth.(Hebrews 10:19-20).

His glory manifested through us will make us peculiar people. Different that the rest.

Live everyday expecting to see the glory of God. You are His vessel in which He always pours out.
